Im Jahre 2008 erschien in Japan von Sega das Spiel 428: F?sa Sareta Shibuya de und hat dort für hohe Wellen geschlagen, da es als Live Action-Visual Novel vom japanischen Magazin Famitsu einen perfekten Score erhielt.

Aber bis heute wurde das Spiel dem Westen vorenthalten. Doch damit ist jetzt endlich Schluss, denn Spike Chunsoft, der Entwickler des Spiels, hat auf einem Presse-Event im Rahmen der GDC 2017 bekannt gegeben, dass 428: Shibuya Scramble im Frühling 2018 in hiesigen Gefilden erscheinen soll. Als Plattformen werden die PS4 und der PC angepeilt. Ursprünglich erschien der Titel bisher nur für die Wii, PSP sowie mobilen Endgeräte mit iOS und Android. Story
